15u WWBA Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3

Reese Mooney (2023, Denham Springs, La.) is a big-time player whose tools play loudly in the game. An athletic defender at third base, Mooney funnels the baseball cleanly with sure hands and a quick release to first base. The arm stands out as he has plenty of carry to his throws across. The Houston commit has some juice in his bat too although the box score will not show up with a hit, he put several good swings on the baseball with two very hard hit balls that wound up outs. Mooney is a physically advanced 15u player with a 6-1 frame with good strength proportioned throughout. Mooney is also a two sport star as he also has several offers to play Division I football as a 2023 quarterback recruit.
