2020 Preseason JUCO Team Reports (26-50)

26. Navarro (Texas)
A World Series club a year ago, the Bulldogs of Navarro are looking to make it two consecutive trips to Grand Junction, though the gauntlet that is Texas JUCO stands before them. They return some key pieces for sure, especially on offense, led by shortstop Cash Rugely and third baseman Stacey Bailey, who provide the club with not only one of the better left sides defensively across the country, but also an impact middle of the order along with Jose Gonzalez. Dawson Woods anchors the club behind the plate, and two-way players Logan Letney and Chad Ricker are expected to pick up major at-bats as well as innings on the bump. Spencer Arrighetti and Carson Rollins lead the way in the rotation, with freshman Blake Anderson expected to be a big bullpen piece as well as newcomer Jake Combs, who transferred in from Louisiana-Lafayette.
