Butch Thompson’s program headed into the fall with huge momentum from a 2019 trip to Omaha and an incredible group of returning players. Lefthander Bailey Horn, who runs his fastball up to 94 mph, was really good down the stretch last year and he was even better this fall. Sophomore Ryan Bliss was another standout in the fall and he could be an answer at shortstop. Bliss has continued to collect hits and his instincts on the bases are a separator.

Two freshmen to keep an eye on are righthander Seb Thomas and lefthanded hitting corner player Johnny Ceccoli. Thomas showcased great pitchability with a low-90s fastball and advanced feel for spinning the baseball while Ceccoli has exceptional power.
