 Kaleb Lipscomb (2023, Canton, Miss.) Is an athletic and rangy middle infielder. He displayed plenty of arm strength going deep in the hole to record the first out of the semifinal game for his East Coast Sox Jackson Prime team. His good first-step quickness and soft hands work well allowing him to make plays from anywhere on the diamond. A the plate his compact, short swing allows him to stick with a line drive approach and drive the ball from line to line. His 5-foot-8, 165-pound frame still leaves room for him to continue to add more power and strength moving forward.

Kaden Irving (2023, Gautier, Miss.) was a driving force behind East Coast Sox Jackson Prime semifinal run in the 14u WWBA National Championship. His large, physical frame produces a powerful swing with present loft to the bat path. His ability to get his strong lower half involved in his swing allowed him to drive the ball with authority from the right-center field side to his pull-side line. At third base his arm showed plenty of strength to handle all of the throws required of him. His 6-foot, 210-pound frame already displays present strength throughout his build.

With an outing early on in the tournament in which he topped out at 87 mph, Matthew Matthijs (2022, Greenville, N.C.), a North Carolina commit, topped his previous fastball velocity with an 89 mph fastball in the first inning and a few 88 mph fastballs behind that on Friday. His long arm and over-the-top arm slot produce good plane on the fastball that jumps out of the hand. He used his breaking ball to keep hitters honest as it showed good depth sitting 70-72 mph when the arm speed stayed consistent. His long, lengthy frame still has plenty of projectability left in it and will be interesting to see how he continues to develop with more room to fill out as he matures.
