Bleday had a huge day at the plate with several big-time decision makers including Derek Jeter in Hoover to see him. Bleday responded with a big day, going 5-for-5 with a pair of doubles and three singles displaying huge raw bat speed and a relatively compact stroke. His hand speed is elite and that allows him to create that barrel whip through the hitting zone, but the approach and hand-eye are so professional already. Bleday did nothing but barrel up the baseball and work the ball to all parts of the field. He worked from foul line to foul line and was every bit as confident as anyone in two days at the plate in the SEC Tournament. His physique already makes him look like a professional outfielder and his arm is plus. Bleday has all of the tools to be a first round pick, and likely a top five pick overall, come June.
