2018 High School Baseball Preview Content

The high school baseball season is underway! With plenty of teams beginning their seasons very shortly, Perfect Game has released the Preseason High School Top 50. In total there are 22 states represented in the rankings with Florida leading the charge with eight teams ranked. California has seven teams in the preseason rankings while Georgia and Texas each have six teams. 

The depth of the state of Florida is what jumps out early about the 2018 season. With eight teams in the top 50, five teams are ranked inside the top 20, including the Nos. 1 and 3 teams in the country, American Heritage and Calvary Christian. 

Teams in the Southeast and California will be beginning their seasons in about a week's time while some of the teams in the Upper Midwest and Northeast won't be starting their seasons until April.
