Iowa Select Team Rosters

The rosters for the Iowa Select Teams are now live!  To view the rosters, go to the Iowa Select Teams event page.  There are still a handful of guys who haven't signed up online yet, so there might be a couple teams that might appear to look incomplete.  When those players do get signed up, they will be added to rosters.  We are holding off on posting the 2022 rosters until Tuesday.  

I received the schedule for the 2019's at Lindenwood this weekend and posted that schedule earlier today.  If you haven't booked your room yet, you need to do that ASAP.  They will be releasing the available rooms tonight at 8 PM.  I also had one organization drop out this weekend at Lenz for the 2020's and 2021's.  I just updated the schedule for that and it can be found on the schedule page of the Iowa Select Teams.  I will be posting the schedule for September 9-10 here soon.  The 2019's in Kenosha can expect that schedule online tomorrow.  

Below is the link for the online store to purchase your jersey.  We also have other optional items for sale.  All players need to have plain white pants for all teams at all age groups.  We already have the jersey's ordered and in, so it's just a matter of paying for those and choosing what size of shirt you'd like.  You have until Tuesday at 11:59 PM to submit your order.  After that we won't be taking more orders.  For any apparel orders, expect a 2-3 week turnaround on anything you order.  

I know we covered a bunch at the parent/player meeting but I did forget a couple of key points;

1 - For any playing time/positional discussions all of that is done between the player and the coach.  We will not discuss that with the parent at any level unless the player has already talked to his coach.  Texting/email/phone call between player and coach isn't an option for that.  It is a face to face discussion.  

2 - Parents need to not talk to the college coaches and pro scouts that are in attendance.  If the coach or scout wants to talk to you, he will approach you directly.  They are there to watch the games and players, not talk to parents.

Look to the website for more information later on this week.  The practice plan for tomorrow is for pitchers, catchers, and outfielders to be at Washington.  All infielders will be at Jefferson.
