Savino enters the PG All-American Classic as the top-ranked lefthanded pitcher in the 2020 class and the sixth overall best prospect. The highly athletic 6-foot-3 righthander sat consistently in the mid-90s at the PG National Showcase, topping out at 96 mph from an easy, low effort delivery that enables him to fill up the strike zone. Savino’s sharp-breaking slider is a potential second plus pitch for him and there is no reason with his athleticism and fast arm that he shouldn’t add even more future velocity.
