Jack Leiter is the son of two-time MLB All-Star lefthander Al Leiter and the cousin of Phillies reliever Mark Leiter Jr., so there are plenty of baseball genes in the family. That's evident on the mound, where Leiter is one of the most polished pitchers in the 2018 class, with excellent command and feel for a full four-pitch mix of quality offerings. His fastball works in the 90-94 mph range and at any one point in a game his slider, curveball or changeup might be his best off-speed pitch.
