Montgomery is one of the younger players in the PG All-American Classic, having turned 17-years old just a week before the game, but he’s also always been one of the hardest throwers in the class and was topping out at 91 mph as a 14-year old. While Montgomery can still reach back for a 96 when he wants it, he is most effective in the 92-94 mph range to go with a power mid-80s slider and a developing changeup.
