Nathan Brittain is a 2023 SS/RHP, MIF with a 6-2 171 lb. frame from Mount Holly, NC who attends Stuart W. Cramer. Large frame with a wiry type build showing plenty of physical room to fill out down the road. Primary Shortstop, stays behind the baseball before gathering out front. Clean glove actions as he works into a quick transfer. Accurate throws across the diamond. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. High leg lift above the belt with a front shoulder turn away. Medium arm circle in the back before delivering from a high three-quarter slot. Downhill thrower as he does a good job of getting over his front side. Stays direct to the dish as he got ahead early in counts. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from a narrow and open stance. Big weight transfer into stride. Throws hands at the baseball as he looks to drive the baseball back up the middle. Hard cuts as he looks to do damage with every pitch. Outstanding Student.
