Carrasco was impressive in all facets of the game this weekend. He showed nice balance and power at the plate, drilling a ground rule double in game action. On the mound, he was 75-79 mph with his fastball and worked a solid breaking ball off of it.

De Jesus showed good actions on the infield, using his twitchy actions to cover tons of ground at shortstop. Offensively, he showed his speed by beating out multiple infield hits and stealing bases throughout the event.

Kassab is advanced defensively behind the plate with the ability to move laterally well and stay in front of balls in the dirt. He has quiet hands when receiving and can handle velocity. Offensively, he has a physical swing with plenty of bat speed through the zone.
JJ (Jeremiah) Phillips
C - 2027 - Pleasantville, IA
Phillips is a twitchy athlete that utilizes a quick transfer and release behind the plate when throwing to second. He showed promising arm strength in the outfield as well, throwing 76 mph to the bases. At the plate he has a rhythmic swing and is consistently on balance.
Braden Swaney
OF - 2027 - Omaha, NE
Swaney has true potential both on the mound and offensively. As a pitcher, he creates nice spin on his fastball which allows it to hold plane through the zone. Offensively, he has the ability to create backspin on his line drives that carries the ball into the gaps.
Owen Brown
C - 2027 - Hastings, NE
Brown has true power potential at the plate, showing good feel for the barrel and a physical approach at the plate. He has a slightly uphill swing path that allows him to leverage the ball deep to all parts of the field.
Alex Griffin
3B - 2027 - Union, MO
Griffin showed good ability with the bat, sending hard line drives to all parts of the field. He works back up the middle of the field and showed the ability to let the ball get deep into the hitting zone.
Bridger Schmidt
OF - 2027 - Marion, IA
Schmidt has a solid swing from the left side of the plate. He has a linear swing path that bodes well for success now and in the future. He showed the ability to make loud contact to all parts of the field.
