7-Purple vs. 8-Red Game Highlights

8/6/2022

Matt Misiti (2023, Winter Park, Florida) missed a bunch of bats in his three innings of work collecting four strikeouts. Up to 88 with the fastball with a tight, short breaking slider and a firm changeup at 75 mph.

 

Logan Chapman (2023, Apopka, Florida) had an impressive round of batting practice barreling balls all over the yard. The hit tool showed up in the game with two well hit singles. Plenty of whip in the barrel with present bat speed.

 

Clint Shores (2023, Pike Road, Alabama) showed off a solid three pitch mix with good feel for each offering. Threw two different breaking balls that missed bats and induced soft contact. Struck out five over three scoreless innings.

 

Jeffrey Lopez (2024, Miami, Florida) flashed two-way potential on the mound and with the bat. Went three innings with two punchouts and added a double at the plate.

 

Jordan Jacoby (2023, Jacksonville, Florida) had an RBI single and showed off his speed with a stolen base. Showed good bat control adjusting his swing to barrel a low pitch. High level instincts were evident in his game.

 

Collin Ewaldsen (2024, Baxley, Georgia) dominated in his three inning outing with five strikeouts and only one hit allowed. Sat comfortably in the 83-85 mph range. 11-5 Curveball was a weapon and showed good power with medium depth and tight spin.

 

Dean Hanselman (2024, Merritt Island, Florida) went three for six including a loud barrel in the left center field gap. Flashed some leather making a great diving play in the hole at short.


Game Highlights: 8- Red vs. 10- White

8/7/2022

Daniel Munoz (2024, 1B/3B, Tampa, FL) showed some pop and bat speed lining a double down the LF line on inside FB. 

 

Deyus Rowe (2024, OF/LHP, Orlando FL) had himself a great day at the plate tallying 3 hits and scored twice. On the mound he also ran his FB up to 83mph w/ natural cut.

 

Collin Ewaldsen (2024,RHP/MIF, Baxley, GA) had a good day at the plate as well, grabbing 2 hits on the day and scoring once.

 

Charles Chalk (2023, OF/RHP, Land O Lakes, FL) looked good on the mound in his 2.0 innings of work. Struck out 3 while commanding both halves of the plate w/ FB that ran up to 86mph. 

 

Austin Boyd (2023, OF/1B, Casselberyy, FL) grabbed 2 hits on the day in which both were singles. Good barrel control and bat speed.  

 

Jean Carlos Martinez (2025, OF/3B/OF, Sunrise, FL) showed great life on his fastball running it up to 86mph. Commended the zone well with both FB and CB.



Game Highlights: 7- Purple vs. 9- Royal

Hunter Gressel (2023, RHP/1B, Gotha, FL) had a stellar day on the mound striking out 9 batters and allowing 0 hits over 4.0 innings of work. Gressel commanded the zone with both FB/CB mix and sequenced those pitches well. 

 

Josh Rimpley (2025, OF/RHP/C/UT, Skiatook, OK) displayed some good bat speed barreling a double to the LF on an inner half FB. Strong projectable frame with good pop. 

 

Thomas Chiuchiolo (2025, C/RHP, Indialantic, FL)  had himself a nice outing this morning going 2.0 innings allowing 0 hits and striking out 2. Good feel for both FB/CB and kept hitters off balance in his innings of work. 

 

Xavier Ahr (2025, 1B/3B, St. Augustine, FL) took a FB backside for a double down the RF line that eventually turned into a run. 

 

Tyler Mendoza (2024, MIF/ OF, Orlando, FL) smooth swing from the left side showed some pop with a loud double to the RF gap. 

Jeffrey Lopez (2024, RHP/OF, Miami, FL) with a loud double to the LF gap. Showed some good speed on base paths eventually scoring. 

 

Logan Chapman (2023, SS/3B, Apopka, FL) sits back well on off speed and ripped a double down the LF line. Good barrel control making loud contact every AB.



4- Maroon vs. 6- Orange Game Highlights

8/7/2022

Aidan Aguila (2024, Hialeah, Fl.) was dominant in his start for Maroon. The lefty pounded the zone with his fastball-curveball combo while garnering plenty of swing-and-miss.

Jeremy J. Nieves (2023, San Lorenzo, P.R.) tossed a solid couple innings on the hill and struck a hard double to left field in his first at-bat. The Puerto Rico native possesses plenty of strength at impact.

Chase Carney (2025, Maitland, Fl.) showed off some pop, sending a double to deep left field that one-hopped the fence.

Chris Sierra (2023, Miami, Fl.) displayed good discipline at the plate and made good swing decisions. In his second at-bat, he did a great job reading spin early, lining a curveball into right for a knock.

Joey Talbot (2024, Lake Mary, FL.) collected three knocks on the day. Talbot has good bat-to-ball skills and an accurate barrel.


BP Highlights

8/7/2022

Gadriel Burgos (2023 OF, Kissimmee, FL) showed off some intriguing power with a left-handed swing geared for the pull side. He's very strong and creates good leverage and hip rotation through contact. 

Benjamin Robinson (2024 C, Saint Augustine, FL) is a physical right-handed hitter with big bat speed and impact. He really shifts through contact well and executed his approach to hit balls hard on a consistent basis. 

Cesar Valera (2023 RHP, Bradenton, FL) turns the barrel over the inside nicely and can work to the pull side with intent. He looks to separate and create some pull side power as the frame projects. 

Andrew Barr (2026 1B, Longwood, FL) has a loose, leveraged stroke from the left side with plenty of loft and power projection. He finishes well through the baseball and can create carry to all fields. 

Giovanni Giuliani (2023 OF, Sarasota, FL) worked with a level swing path that he used to impact line drives to the middle of the field. He's physical with plenty of strength and power upside when he turns the barrel. 

Tyler Gray (2026 3B, Crawfordville, FL) generates a lot of leverage with big separation and extension through the finish. He optimizes the swing well and it's easy to see the long term power upside. 

Eric Correa (2023 OF, Carolina, PR) has a clean stroke from the left side with plenty of physicality and bat speed. There's good strength and barrel control and he can impact the ball to both gaps with backspin and carry. 

Trey Bentley (2024 OF, Mulberry, FL) showed a quality switch hit tool with plenty of barrel from both sides of the plate. It's a clean swing path with quick hands and budding power potential. 

Sebastian Hurtado (2025 C, Orlando, FL) showed a consistent, lifted stroke with plenty of bat speed throughout. He impacts the ball well and executed his line drive approach nicely. 

Damian Lampe (2023 C, Land O Lakes, FL) has plenty of strength in his wrists and can impact the ball with consistency. He turns the barrel over with authority and the strength leads way to power upside. 

Alex Debruyne (2025 OF, Wesley Chapel, FL) has a whippy swing from the left side and lots of projection. There's good lift out in front and he projects for solid power. 

Lester Martinez (2023 OF, Miami Lakes, FL) has a very quick trigger with fast hands and an explosive start to stop. He lets the barrel do the work and hits the ball hard. 

Emmitt Hall (2026 1B, Patterson, GA) creates hard contact to the pull side and can elevate and generate carry. He turns the barrel with intent and his ability to hit the ball hard stands out. 

Logan Chapman (2023 3B, Apopka, FL) took a very consistent BP round with hard hit line drives and fly balls all over the field. He's got excellent bat speed and repeats the point of contact nicely to project out not only on the hit tool but power too. 

Jalan Gordon (2023 OF, Avon Park, FL) showed fast hands and flashed some significant leverage from the left side. There's good bat speed with the ability to lift to the middle of the field. 

Clint Shores (2023 LHP, Pike Road, AL) has plenty of strength with a direct path to contact and can shoot liners to both sides of the field. He repeats well and executes his plan nicely. 

Efrain Zambrana (2023 SS, Ponce, PR) worked with a low effort swing and showed easy, loose hands through contact. He gets the barrel out well and projects for power with strength. 

Maurice Maiquez (2024 C, Miami Gardens, FL) moves into contact well with a simple move and exudes strength through contact. He generates good backspin and carry to both halves of the field and shows good power potential. 

Jean Carlos Martinez (2025 OF, Sunrise, FL) showed very impressive bat speed with the ability to generate hard hit contact. He spreads out nicely in the load and allows him to retain balance through the swing. 


Game Highlights: 3-Gold vs. 4-Maroon

Denixon Suarez (2023, C/2B, Doral, FL) turns on a FB down RF line for double. Showing good pop from the left side and creates natural lift with swing. 

 

Joey Talbot (2024, RHP/1B/3B, Lake Mary, FL) had himself a day on the mound going 3.0 innings striking out 6 and allowing just 1 hit. Filled the zone up with FB early and put them away with SL which proved to be good out pitch for him. 

 

Kaiden Krak (2024, RHP/SS/OF, Orlando, FL) looked solid in his 3.0 innings of work striking out 4. FB showed good life running it up to 87 mph and complimenting well with CB.  

 

Cesar Valera (2023, RHP/SS, Bradenton, FL) showed quick bat speed turning on a FB down the LF line for a loud double. 

 

Iván Andrés Castillo Luque (FA, INF, Panama City, PAN) took an elevated FB to the left-center gap for a loud double. Good bat speed with barrel control. 

 

Tyler Laflamme (2025, MIF/3B, Cape Coral, FL) showed some good juice and bat speed, one hopping a double to the LF wall on inside FB. 

 

Tyler Boyesen (2025, OF/UT, Daytona Beach Shores, FL) strong athletic player with a loud barrel for a double to LF gap. 

 

Chase Carney (2025, OF/RHP, Maitland, FL) with 2 base knocks on the day including a backside single to RF and a barreled double down the LF line. 

 

Tyler Gray (2026, RHP/UT, Crawfordville, FL) had himself two hits including showing off the power by muscling a triple to the LF gap. Showed good speed legging it out standing up. 

 

Andrew Barr (2026, 1B/RHP/OF, Longwood, FL) had a good day on the bump striking out 4 in 1 2/3 innings of work. Good feel for CB as he commanded for strikes and showed it as a put out pitch. Added a double to the day as well with good bat speed and barrel control.



5- Navy vs. 6- Orange Game Highlights

8/6/2022

Peter Liakakos (2023, Venice, Fl.) showed a very solid three-pitch mix while running his fastball up to 86. The right-hander pitches with plenty of intent and has some feel to mix his pitches.

Kevin Quezada (2023, Panama, PM) worked in the low-80s and got lots of swing-and-miss on his heater up in the zone. He operated from a clean delivery and also flashed a curveball at 68.

Jorge Maldonado (2023, Aguadilla, PR) made an impressive move to get to a heater at the top of the zone and drive it into the left center gap. The left-handed bat possesses quality bat-to-ball skills and quick hands.

Eric Correa (2023, Carolina, PR) showed off some easy pop, sending a triple deep into the pull side gap in his second at-bat. The Rice commit uses a smooth stroke with strength out front.

Lucas Badalato (2025, Port Orange, Fl.) split the opposite field gap in the fourth, racing around for a triple. The right-handed bat has plenty of physical projection remaining. He later collected another knock in his next at-bat.

Michael Halfpenny (2024, Land O’ Lakes, Fl.) dominated off of his fastball-curveball combo. The southpaw showed excellent feel to spin his slider for strikes as well as swing-and-miss.

Lester Martinez (2023, Miami Lakes, Fl.) read a breaking ball early and sat back on it to drive a triple into deep center field. Martinez swings with plenty of intent and has some juice in his bat.


Game Highlights: 9-Royal vs. 10-White

8/6/2022

Xavier Ahr (2025 1B, St Augustine, FL) fights off a fastball on the outer third of the plate, driving it deep into right field for a double. Sees it down in the gap and hustles out a double for a quality backside knock.

 

Austin Boyd (2023 OF, Cassleberry, FL)was able to turn on a fastball and drive it into the gap in right-center to hustle out a base hit. Battled with two strikes and was able to turn on the pitch.

 

Matthew Mahon (2026 OF, Saint Johns, FL) lined a ball to right field after a lengthy at-bat, being able to wait for his pitch and drive it. He got a hanging breaking ball and was able to drive it for an extra-base hit.

 

Tyler Mendoza (2024 2B, Orlando, FL) jumped on the first pitch of his at-bat, driving the ball to right field for a double. Quality barrel to move the runner to third base. In his second at-bat, he drove a ball hard on a line to left field. It was a drive deep enough to score a run on the sacrifice fly.

 

Tristan Wells (2025 C, Lake Worth, FL) was able to get the barrel out in front on a fastball, driving it deep in the gap to left center field. He was able to hustle all the way to third after barreling up the pitch that made it to the wall.

 

Ethan Karnow (2024 C, Weeki Wachee, FL) picked up a double after he roped a line shot down the right field line. The ball ended up getting into foul territory, allowing Karnow to hustle out the extra-base hit. In a later at-bat, he was able to turn on a fastball, getting the hands through the zone quick, driving a ball down the left field line, just inside fair territory. He hustled out of the box and was able to leg out a triple, picking up an RBI on the play.

 

Jean Carlos Martinez (2025 OF, Sunrise, FL) was able to drive a fastball deep into the right-center gap. Hustled out a double on the barrel to get a late rally going.

 

Jadiel Perez (2026 SS, Orlando, FL) got the barrel through the zone quick, driving one hard through the left side for a run-scoring single to take the lead in the tenth inning. 

 

Ian Resler (2024 OF, Miami, FL) was able to drive a fastball to deep left field, seeing it down for an RBI-double to end the game.
