Kaiden Ellis is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends North Forsyth. Large frame with a lean build proving to have some room to fill out physically. Ran a 7.16 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, working aggressively into the baseball as he gathers to the side and shuffles into throws. Long arm action as he shows carry to throws. Kept throws down and threw it 82 mph during drills. Shows great instincts while roaming the outfield. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a big windup showing a high leg lift before he works direct to the plate down the mound. Medium arm circle to a high three-quarter slot release. Went right after hitters and filled up the zone. Ran the fastball up to 80 mph and mixed in a tight spinning breaking ball and changeup. Missed barrels and got outs. Left-Handed Hitter, starting narrow as he works into a low leg lift to stride. Linear swing path with a smooth, easy cut as he looks to drive the baseball to the pull-side. Great feel for the barrel as he found it consistently. Great Student.
