Trent Brown is a 2017 SS/2B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Victoria, TX who attends Victoria East HS. Medium middle infielder's build, has some present strength. Polished defensive player with mature footwork and balance working through the ball, clean hands with a quick exchange, can charge the ball well, arm strength isn't a plus but is playable and accurate, should be able to stay in the middle infield at the next level. Right handed hitter, spread stance with a deep hand load, line drive swing with some strength at contact, tends to cut off his swing a bit out front, solid pull to mid field contact. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas.
