2022 South Dominican Republic Showcase
Dariel Reynoso is a 2022 SS with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Spm, PM who attends Cenapec. Medium, athletic frame quick-twitch muscle throughout and some present physicality, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 6.82 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, does a nice job of working low and remaining low through actions, clean and snatchy hands play nice at the ball, shorter arm action overall, moves well to either side, solid arm strength and carry on throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and utilizes a small stride moving into contact. Swings hard, hands get a bit deep at start but shows the bat speed to get the barrel out on time and impact it hard at the point of contact. Solid bat speed coming through the zone, shows comfort lifting the ball to pull side gap with easy juice, loose wrists in swing and repeats swing path nice. Good student. Named to the South Dominican Republic Top Prospect List.
