Jaled A. Mercader Suarez is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Hormigueros, PR who attends Albergue Olímpico Baseball Academy. Medium build with good length and some lean definition to the overall frame. Ran a 7.28 in the 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, confident footwork and stays square while gaining momentum in his exchange. Throws come out quick from a short arm action and carry good accuracy to the bag. Accurate arm with the footwork to match. Left-handed hitter, open stance and medium base with high hand set. Pure, simple path with good extension through contact. Strong set of hands and times the lower half well with intent to both gaps. Very impressive round and clean path with minimal moving parts. Very good student.
