Alexander Clark is a 2024 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Glencoe, IL, who attends New Trier Township. A taller frame and more slender build. Some athleticism is showing. Ran a 7.86 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder who moved well during his round of defense throws. He fields it off the front foot with a clue for the actions. He had a bigger crow-hop into his throws, which came out of a lower slot. Threw 83 mph during his round of defensive reps. He had some quickness through release, with one-hop accuracy to the plate. A left-handed hitter with an even base and a slightly open stance. He had a higher back elbow with even hands in the stance. He was quick with the wrists, getting the barrel to the contact point with some speed. The ball jumps off the barrel when he gets on time for it. Strength showed in the hands during his round of BP swings. Rotated hard through contact with some solid contact, working the other way. Produced 84 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Named to 2024 Chicago Indoor Showcase TP List. Committed to Quincy University.
