Holden Garcia is a 2022 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Stockdale. He ran a 8.22 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with a larger build. On the mound showed a quicker arm with some whip in the arm action working to an extended three-quarters arm slot, he starts with a big side step with the hands raising over the head, their is some effort out from on the release working at 84-87 mph and showing running life of the two seam. The slider showed as the better of the two breaking balls coming out more natural from his arm lower slot with horizontal bite, the changeup also showed good arm speed in the mid to upper 70's fading arm side. Right-handed hitter, swings with a lot of intent and the hands working up hill trying to create leverage to the pull side. Very good student. Named to the 2021 California Workout Camp Session 5 Top Prospect List.
