Jace Norton is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn. Ultra projectable frame with long limbs and slender but fluid hips. Ran a 7.10 in the sixty. A primary infielder, clean/fluid actions and shows some range to both sides. Soft hands with a quick transfer, plays with energy and confidence. Arm has easy carry and he is accurate with the throws, can change arm slots too. A righthanded hitter, starts even with higher hands. Gets on plane early and stays there, looseness to the swing and stays through the ball. Very good eye hand coordination and power is easy to project as he matures. A secondary pitcher, simple and repeatable mechanics, full arm circle with a high 3/4 release. Ball jumps out of the hand with downhill plane, locates the fastball to both sides. Good three pitch mix with an 11/5 shaped curveball with tight spin and depth, makings of a solid changeup too with feel to match release. Excellent two way prospect. Good student.
