Caleb Kilian is a 2016 RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Flower Mound HS. Long and lean pitcher's build, slopped shoulders with long arms, very projectable physically. Long extended arm action and will show the ball in back, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot with upper body lean on release, generates big downhill plane when down in the zone but not consistent getting downhill this outing. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 92 mph when everything in sync, has high velocity potential in his arm. Same showing with curveball, flashed hard spin and bite when getting over top of it and working downhill, cast it frequently and left it up. High ceiling potential if he can make adjustments and get stronger. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas Tech.
