Michael Burrows is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-2 183 lb. frame from Waterford, CT who attends Waterford HS. Slender young build with the beginnings of some present strength. Fast paced up tempo delivery, 3/4's arm slot, deep arm action in back. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, has some heaviness to his fastball and gets good sink to the arm side, gets his fastball to both sides of the plate. Slider was his best off speed pitch, has some sweeping depth to it. Slow curveball lacks tightness but is thrown for strikes as a big change of speed for hitters. Tends to change his arm action on his change up. Right handed hitter, long and loose swing with some bat speed, power lifting approach, has potential with the bat with some adjustments. Good student, verbal commitment to Connecticut.
