Mitch Stallings is a 2014 LHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends The Lovett School. Slender athletic build, young look, minimal present strength. Rotational delivery, compact arm action, hides ball well in back, 3/4's arm slot. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight with good downhill angle at times. Slider best off speed pitch, deep tilting action at times, slurve type curveball with some sweeping action thrown for strikes, nice fading action on change up with good arm speed. Slider is a new pitch for him and works well for his future development. Mixes pitches with an idea and throws strikes. Young pitcher with the potential to improve in all areas. Good student.
