Jamodrick McGruder is a 2009 MIF with a 5'8'', 165 lb. frame from Mesquite, TX who attends Coronado. McGruder is an excellent athlete who can really run and was timed at 6.34 in the 60 yard dash. He was spectacular defensively in the games showing he can make all the plays and has the arm for SS. Has bat speed and a nice contact type approach at the plate. As the bat continues to develop he could be special. He has signed with Texas Tech.
