Event Information
The Iowa Select Teams started in the fall of 2005 as an addition to the Iowa Fall League.  Since the state of Iowa has summer high school baseball, Iowa players are not able to play travel baseball throughout the summer months. The fall is the time of the year where an Iowa high school player can play travel baseball against the best competition from across the country while continuing to develop and showcase their talents. This is a great opportunity for our in-state athletes to prepare for their next chapter in baseball, the greatest game on earth. We want these kids to have an avenue in whatever capacity it may be. High School, DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, or Juco. If playing in college is your goal, we want to help you achieve it.

Iowa Select teams will be involved in our top tournaments throughout the fall. Our teams will play in the Kernels Foundation Tournament, WWBA Midwest Underclass Qualifier, WWBA Midwest Freshman Championship, WWBA Midwest Sophomore Championship, WWBA Freshman World Championship, WWBA Sophomore World Championship, WWBA Underclass World Championship, and the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, FL -the largest scouting event in all amateur baseball.
The WWBA will be an invite only event where our scouts will hand pick teams to attend.
We will also be adding 13- and 14-year-old divisions for this fall with more tournament options for spring as well. Both of these years are transition years, and it is vital that the transition into next spring starts with quality baseball in the fall. We need to continue developing our youth in this state if their goals are to play high school and beyond.
When you look at the results, no other organization can compete with what the PG Iowa Select Team alumni have accomplished. Since its inception in 2005, there have been 197 players drafted, 471 former players go on to play at the Division 1 level, 73 at the Division 2 level, 300 at the Junior College level and 23 big leaguers with more on the way!

PERFECT GAME HISTORY
The Perfect Game network began in 1993 with a vision from former scout and college coach Jerry Ford.
That vision was simple: "To give young players the best opportunity for success, to help scouts and recruiters
see and evaluate these players, and to promote the game of baseball at all levels".

Perfect Game has been hosting elite amateur events all over the country since 1997.
Talk about credibility and reputation.
