Introducing – The PG Player Profile Search

Information is power. That power is very useful if you have an easy way to use it effectively. When Perfect Game hired me a little over a month ago I was brought here to help mesh the massive amounts of data and information they have compiled, with better technology. When the transition started there were a number of big things on my plate that we were wanting to do: a website dedicated solely to our ID Camps, a rework of the WWBA site to offer more tools for leagues and coaches, and a complete overhaul of the Perfect Game site, all of this in hope to get better exposure to our players.

As of yesterday there wasn't a way to search for players on the Perfect Game site. Users would have to spend hours going through each event to see if the player they were looking for was listed. Seeing a huge need here, we addressed it as quickly as possible. Today we are proud to announce the launch our player search. Though only in the infant stages, it still provides a powerful way to search for players all the way back to 1996!! The searching feature searches for a last name across all our showcases and ID camps and provides you the results in seconds. The search allows you to quickly find information on any player in any event! We hope you find the search function very useful.
