Benjamin Kennedy (2025, Mendenhall, Miss.) has a workhorse frame and build. His strong, physical appearance projects to be a top-of-the-rotation type pitcher. Benjamin has very clean mechanics and a smooth, repeatable delivery. Using his lower half and driving towards the plate, he maintains good alignment allowing his arsenal of heavy fastballs and a tight, late breaking curveball to keep hitters guessing. With his fastball touching 85 mph and averaging 83 mph on Day 4, he set the tone for his team for the first game of bracket play. Benjamin is looking to find a program to continue his development after high school.
