John Henry Kohorst (2025, Apple Valley, Minn.) had a dominant start for Mash 15u Black. The lefty got the complete game shutout going 7 innings pitched, 10 strikeouts with only 4 hits given up. Kohorst, standing at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, is very long and projectable, and the frame has plenty of room to fill out with added strength. His fastball topped at 82 MPH on the day with downhill tilt, using some arm-side run and ride through the zone. From his over-the-top slot, Kohorst provided a hard look for hitters and kept them off balance all game long.
