Chance Kidd (2029, Dallas, Tex.) went 6-for-11 in Pool Play with 3 extra-base hits. He begins his swing in a narrow, upright stance before smoothly striding through contact. He controls the barrel very well, showing the ability to simplify and connect to any pitch. A big and physical 6-foot-2 catcher, Kidd has lightning-quick bat speed that enables him to generate serious power. He went 3-for-3 in the final game of Pool Play with 2 doubles.
