Taylor Hamby (2026, Cumming, GA) swung it well for the Team Elite 17U platinum in their matchup with the SBA 2027 Scout. The 5-foot-9, 150-pound, second basemen, has a lean athletic frame. Hamby bats from the right-side of the plate in a slightly open stance and uses a short stride forward for his load. During the game, Hamby smoked an opposite field double that put his opposite field power on display. Taylor maintains confidence in his approach at the plate, looking for a pitch he can handle and put a solid barrel on. During this matchup Taylor went 2-for-4 at the plate including 2 runs scored.
