Kentucky commit Landon Franklin (2023, Cleveland, Tenn.) put together a solid weekend at the dish en route to a victory in the championship for eXposure Scout Team. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound middle infielder hit .417 with a double, a triple, and three RBI. The Tennessee native has a short, compact swing with very quick hands and advanced feel for the barrel. He showed that off in the championship game, getting extended on a triple to the right-center gap. The hand speed was shown off later in the game when he pulled them inside on a 90 mph fastball and hitting a single. He would later come around as the winning run. Franklin has also shown advanced feel for the leather in previous looks, showing good range and lateral quickness with the ability to throw from all arm angles. Have gotten to see him quite a few times over the past year and continue to be impressed with every look I get.
