Ryan Everly (2024, Huntsville, Ala.) was dominant out of the bullpen for VBA Black in their third game of pool play. The right-hander went a little over two scoreless innings in his outing giving up a few hits while striking out six. Everly had very good command of his fastball as he was able to command to both sides of the plate well. Everly showed a hard slider with sharp horizontal movement across the zone that he had good feel for and was able to command in the zone. He mixed both pitches well, getting ahead with the fastball early and bury the slider late for strikeouts. He worked for a mid three-quarter arm slot with plenty of speed in the shoulder and jump out of the hand. There is plenty of upside on the mound for Everly and he should continue to see his velo as the frame continues to fill.
