17u BCS Scout Notes: Days 1-2 | Day 3

Wesley Driscoll (2023, Wake Forest, N.C.) came out firing on the hill for East Coast Dodgers Scout Team 2023. The right-hander comes from a very low three-quarters slot, and gets into the lower half well, creating good hip-shoulder separation. His fastball was up to 90 mph, mostly sitting 87-89 mph with a little bit of sink. He paired this pitch with a slider in the mid-70s that had a late break and got chases in the dirt. Driscoll has a big frame and moves well, and presents a tough at-bat with his velocity from that slot. Ended the day going 3 innings pitched with 2 strikeouts, currently uncommitted.
