FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The 10th annual 13U BCS National Championship returns to Fort Myers, Fla. this weekend for a six-day long tournament.

Thirty-two teams from across the country will be competing throughout the near-week long of games for the national title crown. Eleven different states will be represented, from as far west as Arizona, to up north in New York, somewhere in between those two in Kansas and Texas, as well as a large number of teams from right here in Florida.

ZT Elite Florida 13u leads the way as the highest-ranked team in attendance, coming in at No. 18 in the most recent Perfect Game 13u travel ball rankings. The Arizona Spurs come to Florida ranked at No. 35 nationally, MA Show 13u National sits at No. 45, and 5 Star Carolina 13u Elite round out the ranked squads at No. 49 nationally.

Each team kick things off Thursday morning, with games starting at 8:00 am. Each team will play their three pool play games before Friday afternoon and have six games guaranteed by the end of their run in Fort Myers.

Once every team plays their three pool play games, the top two seeds in each of the eight pools will advance to the Gold Bracket, while the bottom two advance to the Silver Bracket.

For the lucky 16 teams in the Gold Bracket, they simply need to win and advance to continue in the winner’s bracket.

Several different ballparks in Fort Myers will be the site for games over the tournament’s duration, where one lucky team will be crowned the 13u BCS National champion.
