13u Tourney All-American Team

Today we take a look at the class of 2026 and those who stood out this past summer and fall circuit, predominately at the 13u level, though some did play up where they continued to find success. For this project, we looked at player who took a majority of their reps on the 60-90 field as some players in the 2026 class were 12u eligible and thus can be found in tomorrow’s article as the field is of different dimensions. With that said, lets jump into some numbers and look back on some of the standout performances while knowing there were several other players who were in serious contention and could easily be interchanged throughout. 

All-Tournament Teams are commonplace in a project like this considering we are looking at the best performances throughout the year, though it’s still impressive just how many some of these players were able to amass with double digit nominations being the norm. No player took home more ATT honors than outfielder Randy Ruiz however who leads the way with 24 awards and he’s one of 12 players on the first team with double digit selections with both Keon Johnson and RJ Cope having 19 to their name. 



Standing out amongst a sea of talent on the first team is by no means an easy task, yet Andrew Petrock has continued to shine with the bat and as such has been tabbed as the 13u Tournament All-American Player of the Year. Over 204 plate appearances this summer and fall Petrock not only hit tan eye-opening .533 but connected for 25 doubles and 11 home runs while driving in 65, proving to be a true difference maker with the stick in his hands. Petrock, a young Alabama native and the 12u National Player of the Year in 2020, has continued to establish himself as one of the more potent bats in the class showing a nice combination of strength and bat speed which has led to obvious success. 

In terms of 13u arms, none logged more innings pitched nor strikeouts than right-hander Brayden Harris who continued to up the ante nearly every outing at a Perfect Game event this past circuit season. Highly ranked and for good reason given the 86 mph fastball and sharp, hard biting curveball he possesses, Harris logged 95 1/3 innings this year in which he struck out 113 batters while maintaining a 1.22 WHIP and leads the way with 18 All-Tournament selections. If Burn Atlantic Navy team ever has a difficult opponent on hand or a pivotal pool play game, you can expect to find Harris out on the rubber as he continues to make a name for himself on the national circuit.
