William Gnibus is a 2021 LHP with a 6-2 208 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Strong athletic build, pretty mature physically. Works from the stretch with a high hand set and a low leg lift start, rides his back leg very well and gets into his strong lower half well, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, has outstanding late running and diving life on his fastball, very consistent life, swing and miss size and lateness at times. Throws a sweeping slider as his breaking ball, also developing a change up. Can really pitch with his fastball, ceiling will be determined by continued development of his secondary pitches. Very good student. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
