Drew Brutcher is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-6 205 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Lakeland. The primary pitcher is very athletic and has an ultra projectable body with a tall and long frame. Drew ran a 6.72 in the sixty yard dash. The right-hander has a boxed delivery with a small hip turn with fluidity and the ability to repeat. He rides his back leg well while using a full arm circle and a 3/4 release. Mixes a 4-seam fastball that jumps out of the hand, and a 2-seamer that sinks late. His slider has 10-4 shape and real depth, flashes plus. Also threw a changeup that got some arm side run and gives Drew a true 3-pitch mix. The secondary outfielder has a smooth approach to the ball, solid actions with carry and accuracy to the throws. A left-handed hitter who starts open, using a deep hand load and works to stay inside the ball with his hands. Solid bat to ball skills and easy and speed. His level 2-way upside.
