Tyler Corish is a 2021 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Tampa Jesuit. Long and lean build with room to still fill into as he continues to develop, posted a 7.02 second 60 yard dash time. Primary first baseman, stays in front of the ball well and moves well around the bag. Puts himself in good positions and makes accurate throws to all bags. On the mound, has a longer arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Mid leg lift, works with good direction down the hill. Fastball up to 85 mph possesses good downward angle to the plate, occasionally shows some late life. Mixes in a 68 mph 1-to-7 shaped breaking ball with good depth. From the outfield, fields out in front, throws have solid carry to all bags. At the plate, uses an even and upright stance with a simple stride trigger. Present bat speed with good torque in his hips. Gets on plane quickly and explodes through the zone at launch. Excellent student as well.
