Blake Mahmood is a 2020 RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Eden Prairie, MN who attends Benilde-St. Margaret's. Recorded a 7.88 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with strength to the lower half and present physicality. Primary righthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Loose arm stroke with a high three-quarters arm slot. High front glove side lever and pitches exclusively from the stretch. High leg lift with a quick arm and some effort at release. Gets downhill and extended out in front. Good curveball with sharp 11/5 shape and good depth. Fastball topped out at 88 mph and flashed hard cutting action. Curveball is a swing and miss type offering and maintains velocity well. Named to the 2018 Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student.
