2022 Top Prospects

Garrett Kuhn  RHP - 2022 - Gambrills, MD
Uncommitted

Kuhn impressed over his three scoreless innings of work, as the sturdy framed right-hander ran his fastball up to 83 mph and displayed good command to both sides of the plate. He works from a deceptive delivery with a cross-body release and a lower three quarters arm slot.The uncommitted 2022 Grad allowed just one hit and struck out five during his outing. He mixed in two variations of his breaking ball, while showing the ability to manipulate its shape/speed for tons of awkward swings.


2023 Top Prospects

Kyle Emmons  RHP - 2023 - Pasadena, MD
Towson

Emmons is an immensely projectable right-hander at 6-foot-3, 170-pounds and showed off intriguing upside throughout his three innings of work. The uncommitted 2023 Grad works from a lower 3/4 slot with looseness and plenty of arm speed. He ran his fastball up to 83 mph during his outing, maintaining it throughout and mixed in two promising secondary offerings for swings-and-misses.

Brian Walsh  RHP - 2023 - Scranton, PA
Bloomsburg (PA)

Walsh is an uncommitted 2023 Grad with legitimate two-way abilities that play extremely well in game action. The left-handed hitting RHP/OF uses an advanced approach at the plate with plus barrel skills and lightning quick hands to impact the baseball. He collected four hits over the weekend including a double and triple, while also firing three scoreless innings on the mound. The young right-hander ran his fastball up to 83 mph from a compact over-the-top arm slot and showed good feel for his breaking ball.

Ben Berger  LHP - 2023 - Olney, MD
Frostburg State University

Berger impressed on the mound during his start showing some advanced pitch ability from the left side. Punching out six during his three innings of work, Berger commanded the zone well, as he worked his fastball up to 81 mph in all four quadrants. Landing his breaking ball and change-up for strikes often, '23 grad generated a lot of swing-and-misses as he kept hitters off balance.

John Smith  LHP - 2023 - Parsonsburg, MD

Smith displayed intriguing two-way talent and long-term projection on the mound. The strong, durable left-hander ran his fastball up to 81 mph during his three scoreless innings of work and punched out five hitters along the way. The uncommitted 2023 Grad showed good instincts in the outfield, delivered accurate throws to the bags and displayed simple, repeatable swing with strength in his hands.


2024 Top Prospects

Jake Yeager  RHP - 2024 - Odenton, MD
Maryland

Yeager is the definition of an all around athlete, showing natural clean movements regardless of where he was on the field. He touched 83 mph from the OF which ticked up to 87 mph on the bump from a full arm action that produced clear life out of the hand. He flashed a sharp 11-5 breaker with solid horizontal plane as well as a fading changeup to keep hitters guessing. The defensive asset also created pop offensively with an exit velo up to 89 mph.

Miguel Herb  C - 2024 - Bear, DE
Army

Herb showed off a cannon behind the dish, flashing a 2.00 pop time with compact repeatable mechanics that translated directly in game to keep runners at bay. He worked from a lofted stroke offensively that produced consistent backspin from gap to gap with no wasted movements in the stroke. The '24 grad already has power in the build that should only continue to grow.

Ethan Flaugher  C - 2024 - North East, MD
Mount St. Mary`s

Flaugher was a force in multiple facets of the game, flashing a 1.99 pop time behind the plate with a clean arm that also translated on the mound up to 79 mph. Expect the velocity to only increase as he matures. Offensively, he posted an 82 mph exit velo with compact bat speed through the zone from both sides as a switch hitter, creating carry to the middle of the field.


2025 Top Prospects

Nathan Wines  RHP - 2025 - Millersville, MD
East Carolina

The large physical presence of Wines showcased several present tools, impressing during several aspects of the showcase. Up to 81 mph on the bump, creating deceptive downhill action on his fastball. Generating weak contact with a two-pitch mix that projects well as he fills out his 6-2/168 frame and adds to his repertoire. While also showing some power potential in the box, the rising freshman flashed a heavy barrel, using his long limbs to elevate balls to the gaps.

Jack McNally  C - 2025 - Glen Burnie, MD

McNally showcased himself well in multiple facets throughout the weekend. Smooth, quick, athletic actions with a 2.07-second pop time and 75 mph from behind the dish, the 5-10/155 compactly built McNally posses all the tools of a potential elite-level catcher. Carrying a strong round of BP into gameplay, the young Glen Burnie, MD native flashed some gap-to-gap power potential with present bat-to-ball skill that will only continue to improve as he adds strength throughout his build.

Erick Castro  SS - 2025 - Northampton, PA

Castro showed off interesting upside on both sides of the ball, as the young 2025 Grad ran his fastball up to 81 mph, ran a 7.21 sixty and displayed barrel skills from both sides of the plate. There is an innate feel for the game with Castro, as he showed plus instincts in the field and some smoothness to his actions. He recorded arm strength up to 76 mph across the diamond during drills.
