Jake Henry Williams
OF - 2021 - Jonesboro, AR
Connors State College
Williams has a chiseled 6-1/203 build and the Connors State JC commit was likely the strongest player at the showcase, which really showed in DK drills as he lapped the field with a 96 mph exit velocity. He has a very simple and well controlled swing that will enable him to square the ball up frequently.
Cullen Clebert
C - 2021 - Baton Rouge, LA
Uncommitted
Clebert is a strong young catcher at 5-11/205 and that strength shows very well in his right handed bat speed. He has next level defensive tools and skills as a catcher and we liked the energy that he showed for the game.
Ozzie Pratt
SS - 2021 - Oxford, MS
University of Southern Mississippi
Pratt has a very nice combination of speed, with a 6.82 sixty time and raw arm strength to with his middle of the field athleticism. The BYU commit threw 89 mph during infield drills and 86 mph off the mound.
Colton Hegwood
SS - 2021 - Brandon, MS
Louisiana Tech
Hegwood is a Mississippi Gulf Coast CC commit with 6.96 speed in the sixty and smooth and sure defensive actions at shortstop. He has a loose and fluid left handed swing at the plate with consistent time and barrel accuracy and flashed some pull power potential.
Lucas Greer
RHP - 2022 - Little Rock, AR
Central Arkansas
Greer has a lean and lanky 6-2/163 build that really projects well and impressive present arm strength. His fastball topped out at 89 mph with more there as he gets stronger and he also threw a 72 mph curveball with tight downer action and good feel for the zone. Greer has not yet made his college commitment.
Marcus Locklear
RHP - 2022 - Hoover, AL
Florence-Darlington Technical College
Locklear is a two-way prospect on the mound and as a strong armed outfielder. He was up to 86 mph on the hill with a curveball and change up while also showing present bat speed as a right handed hitter and showing his power well in games.
Payton Sanders
RHP - 2022 - Cunningham, TN
South Alabama
The 6-1/175 Sanders dominated in his outing on the mound, working consistently in the mid-80's and often putting hitters away with both a slider and change up that showed quality spin and location. He projects very well as he continues to add strength and already knows how to pitch.
Payton Boines
SS - 2022 - Atlanta, GA
Abraham Baldwin College
Boines is a very good natural athlete with the tools to stay in the middle infield at the next level. He's quick and balanced defensively with soft hands and lots of arm strength and carry from multiple arm slots.
Connor Martin
SS - 2022 - Helena, AL
Uncommitted
Martin is a live bodied middle infielder with 6.98 speed and second base tools on defense. The best part of his game was his right-handed bat, which showed very good bat speed that enabled him to drive the ball very hard both in batting practice and in the games.
Caden Rogers
OF - 2022 - Atlanta, GA
LaGrange College
Rogers is a left handed hitter with a chance to stand out with the bat if he can add some strength to his young 5-6/145 build. He's very accurate and well timed with his barrel and really swung it well in games. He's also a 7.03 runner.
Olin Ward
3B - 2023 - Saraland, AL
Northwest Florida State College
Ward is a seriously strong sophomore at 6-2/190 with room to get even stronger. That strength really carries into his right handed swing well and he generates big raw bat speed with a power approach in the box. He should be solid at third base defensively as he continues to mature physically.
Joshua Gunther
RHP - 2023 - Fairhope, AL
Wake Forest
Gunther has a solid strong 5-11/186 athletic build and the tools to be a two-way type at the next level with continued development. He was up to 84 mph on the mound with a long and loose arm action and solid mechanics and showed a sharp curveball as well. His right handed swing is strong and he has plenty of pull power potential.
Paxton Ponder
SS - 2023 - Cullman, AL
Shelton State CC
Ponder is a very good young athlete with plenty of quick twitch actions. He ran a 6.85 sixty and showed nice quick feet in the middle infield on defense as well. He has "hitter's hands" at the plate and he'll continue to add bat speed as he fills out his 5-11/155 frame and learns to use his lower half more in driving his swing.
Austin Bolding
SS - 2023 - Knoxville, TN
Cleveland State CC
Bolding showed nice athletic actions and balance in the middle infield on defense and a strong right handed swing at the plate. The 6-0/165 sophomore has a young body physically and is going to keep improving in all areas over the next few years.
Harlin Hovater
C - 2024 - Senatobia, MS
Meridian CC
Hovater is a young left handed hitting catcher who stood out for his age on both sides of the ball. His 5-11/172 body is very projectable and he already has nice strength and plenty of athleticism in all his actions.
