2021 Top Prospects

Seaver King  SS - 2021 - Athens, GA
Wake Forest

King showed good athleticism in all facets of his game. On the infield he displayed good footwork working around the ball and carrying his momentum nicely into his throws with good carry across the diamond. At the plate he showed good feel for the barrel with plenty of strength in the hands recording a 92 mph exit velocity.

Preston Ewing  RHP - 2021 - Collierville, TN
Samford

Ewing showed the ability to create swings and misses in his three innings. His fastball showed some arm side run in the 83-85 mph range and a short slider with horizontal bite in the upper 70's.

Michael Romagno  C - 2021 - Murfreesboro, TN
Dyersburg State CC

Romagno displayed quick feet behind the plate with a quick release on his accurate one hop throws recording a 1.97 second pop time. At the plate he showed strength at the point of contact with a 86 mph exit velocity.

Devin Tonkins  OF - 2021 - Greensboro, NC
Alabama A&M

Tonkins showed good feel for the glove in the outfield with solid actions and good carry on his throws. He also showed speed that will play in the outfield with a 6.78 second sixty. His lean frame projects for room to add strength moving forward.

Zach Creighton  RHP - 2021 - San Marcos, CA
California Lutheran University

Creighton showed a good feel for the mound in his three innings of work holding 80-83 mph with his fastball and topping out at 84 mph. He also showed two distinct breaking balls, a curveball in the low 70's with 11-5 shape and a firmer slider with sweeping action.

Andrew Williams  LHP - 2021 - Brookhaven, GA
Georgetown

Williams showed a good mound presence and solid three pitch mix. His fastball sat in the low 80's and topped out at 84 mph. He also showed a slider with sweeping bite and a changeup that was a good change of pace with with good arm speed coming to the plate.

Cameron Ray  OF - 2021 - Birmingham, AL
Uncommitted

Ray displayed solid actions on the outfield with a good approach to the ball and clean transfer. His speed should be an asset in the outfield with a 6.82 second sixty.


2022 Top Prospects

Benjamin Stuart  RHP - 2022 - Statham, GA
Georgia Southern

Stuart works with good tempo on the mound with a clean repeatable delivery. He sat 84-87 mph with his fastball and topped out at 88 mph in his first inning of work. He does a nice job working on top of the baseball and creates some downward angle on the fastball to the bottom of the zone.

Will Saxenmeyer  RHP - 2022 - Holly Springs, NC
Wagner

Saxenmeyer is about as projectable as they come on the mound. With a 6-foot-4 175-pound frame it is easy to see him throwing even harder then his top of 88 mph in the coming years. He does a nice job of creating extension out front as he works towards the plate and showed the ability to land his breaking ball to keep hitters off balance.

Amman Dewberry  OF - 2022 - Conyers, GA
Presbyterian

Dewberry project well on the mound with a 6-foot-3 190-pound frame. He sits 82-83 mph right now but projects for more velocity to come with an easy operation. He also showed feel for a sharp breaking ball in the upper 60's that he can land for strikes.

Crawford Courville  OF - 2022 - Lake Charles, LA
LSU - Eunice

Courville showed plus speed with a 6.57 second sixty. His speed will play in the outfield where he showed solid actions with some arm strength on his accurate one hop throws. His right-handed swing shows good bat speed with an 87 mph exit velocity and a deep triple to center field in game action.

Miles Thomas  C - 2022 - Tuscaloosa, AL
Jackson State

Thomas showed things to like on the mound with a fastball that sat 82-83 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. His slot helps create natural arm side run as he fills up the zone. he also showed some strength in the hands with a 89 mph exit velocity,

Jeremy Sheffield  OF - 2022 - Chesterfield, MO
Georgetown

Sheffield projects well in the outfield with a long lean 6-foot-3 frame. He works through the ball well with good carry on his throws. He also showed some projectable pop at the plat with quick hands through the hitting zone.

Ryan Neilson  RHP - 2022 - Collierville, TN
Radford

Neilson showed a quality two pitch mix in his outing. He sat 80-84 mph with his fastball that showed effective arm side run that he used well under the hands of right-handed hitter. He also mixed in a curveball with sharp 12-6 downer action as a swing and miss type pitch.

Colby Camps  C - 2022 - Alpharetta, GA
Gordon CC

Camps showed some quick twitch behind the plate. He recorded a 2.03 second pop time that will only get better as he continues to develop his arm strength. At the plate he has the ability to impact the ball to all fields and the strength in the hands to split the gaps for extra bases.

Evan Matela  OF - 2022 - Alpharetta, GA
Oglethorpe University

Matela has an interesting projectable skill set. he showed good speed with a 6.82 second sixty. This speed will play in the outfield where he showed clean mechanics and arm strength that will continue to get better as he adds strength.

Dylan Bass  OF - 2022 - Northbrook, IL
Plattsburgh State University of New York

Bass has a lean build that projects well on the mound. His arm action works clean and easy with a fastball in the 81-84 mph range. His breaking ball has room to get better as he continues to throw it with more conviction.

Austin Stephenson  SS - 2022 - Columbus, GA
University of Alabama at Birmingham

Stephenson showed a quick arm working with a full arm action to a high three-quarters release. The ball comes out of the hand easy as he worked up to 84 mph and flashed a sharp 11-5 breaking ball with depth through the zone.

Trey Fenderson  SS - 2022 - Spanish Fort, AL
Presbyterian

Fenderson showed good athleticism in all his actions. On the infield he displayed solid lateral agility both in games and in his workout and a quick accurate release. At the plate he has some pop to the pull side and project well with room to fill in the frame.

Matthew Ma  3B - 2022 - Denham Springs, LA
Uncommitted

Ma showed good intent in his right-handed swing with strength at the point of contact and a 90 mph exit velocity. On the infield he showed good feel for the glove with solid actions.


2023 Top Prospects

Owen Geiger  RHP - 2023 - Atoka, TN
Navy

Geiger ran his fastball up to 87 mph in his three innings of work while sitting 84-86 mph. He created a lot of weak ground balls with his fastball curveball combo as the curveball landed with 11-5 shape. He projects well moving forward with the chance to throw harder as he continues to refine his skill set.

Jack Rickheim  SS - 2023 - Milton, GA
Harvard

Rickheim showcased one of the strongest outfield arms at the event. The projectable young outfielder topped out at 89 mph with accurate throws on a low line. He also showed speed that should project in the outfield with a 6.96 second sixty that will get better as he matures.

Michael O'Brien  OF - 2023 - River Ridge, LA
Mississippi State

O'Brien showed well in the outfield with great reads and athletic plays in game action. At the plate he is able to use the whole field with a line drive approach and showed good feel for the barrel.

Ben Clark  C - 2023 - New Albany, OH
Oakland

Clark showed well behind the plate in his work outs and in game action. He is able to get rid of the ball in a hurry with a quick transfer and release recording a 1.97 second pop time. In game action he showed good glove actions as he does a nice job beating the ball to the spot and sticking it on the corners.

Cole Manuel  C - 2023 - Clinton, MS
Jones College

Manuel showed well behind the dish with a 1.99 second pop time. He gains ground into his throws with good carry. At the plate he showed some strength in the swing at the point of contact with an 87 mph exit velocity.

Ryan Ursery  LHP - 2023 - White Hall, AR
Crowder College

Ursery showed a projectable arm on the mound with a fastball that sat in the low 80's with a low effort delivery. he also flashed a solid changeup with good arm speed and a quality secondary offering.

Alex Ebling  SS - 2023 - St Louis, MO
Uncommitted

Ebling showed a simple approach at the plate with a slightly open stance. His right-handed swing possess some strength in the hands at the point of contact working best to the pull side gap with an 88 mph exit velocity.


2024 Top Prospects

Riley Leatherman  RHP - 2024 - Maple Grove, MN
North Carolina

Leatherman showed well on both sides of the ball. Offensively he showcased quick hands at the plate and an accurate barrel collecting multiple hits in game action. ON the mound he ran his fastball up to 80 mph and project easily for more velocity to come as he adds strength to his frame.

Ryan Sloan  RHP - 2024 - Elmhurst, IL
Wake Forest

Sloan made an impression on both sides of the ball as well as he recorded one of the better exit velocities of the event with at 84 mph. He also ran his fastball up to 82 mph on the bump hitting his spots and mixing in a solid breaking ball.

Jonathan Dobis  RHP - 2024 - Eagan, MN
Minnesota

Dobis brings an athletic pretense to the mound with projection left in his 6-foot frame. He maintained 80-82 mph with his fastball throughout his outing and projects for more as he fills out his frame.
