1-Gold vs. 2-Purple Game Highlights

9/12/2021

John Rodriguez (2023 3B, Kissimmee, FL) rocked a double into the left centerfield gap and he found the barrel often during the game. He's good defensively too but routinely put balls into the air with authority.

Daniel Lazaro (2023 OF, Tampa, FL) burned the centerfielder to the middle of the field and ended up with a double standing up. There's good strength through extension and the ball carries well off the bat.

Blake Bryden (2022 OF, Chuluota, FL) controls the zone well and did a good job at generating weak contact at the bottom of the zone. He works quickly and shows good feel for spin and throw his entire mix for strikes.

Marcos Bisono (2022 SS, Davie, FL) launched a home run to the left centerfield gap and showed good lateral agility at shortstop too. He's clean to the backhand and the ball jumps off the bat with quality bat speed.

Liam Fox (2022 OF, Atlantis, FL) was filling up the strike zone in the upper-70s and misses bats when elevated. There's a full pitch mix and the arm really works and projects for additional velocity.

Christopher King (2022 OF, Pinecrest, FL) has a clean and quick swing and notched two hits including a double down the pull side line. There's good surrounding tools too but the accuracy with the barrel was impressive.

Andy Perez (2024 SS, Orange City, FL) barreled everything on the day with three singles to the middle and pull side. There's easy barrel accuracy with plenty of whip and bat speed while the hit tool really stood out.

Carson Hepworth (2022 OF, Gulf Breeze, FL) is a physical right-handed hitter who is able to generate a lot of strength off the barrel thanks to leverage. He launched a double that got to the wall and later had a hard hit line out.

Carter Oglageo (2023 UT, Deltona, FL) showed some intriguing stuff in relief working in the low-80s and competing well. He also hit the ball hard in game including a double down the pull side line.

Florida Top Prospect Games BP Highlights

9/11/2021

Marcos Bisono (2022 SS, Davie, FL) has a long, projectable build with fast hands and a lot of offensive upside. He turns the barrel over with his long levers to impact the ball and produced in game.

Christopher King (2022 OF, Pinecrest, FL) has an aggressive and impactful swing from the right side and produced big carry off the barrel. He gets the hands through nicely with backspin to both gaps.

Andy Perez (2024 SS, Orange City, FL) drove balls to both sides of the field with a line drive approach and fast hands. Perez' hands work really well through the finish and the strength he generates is impressive.

Lucas Ramirez (2024 3B, Weston, FL) has a long and loose from the left side with some natural loft to the swing plane and power projection as he continues to fill out. The swing works well from a functional standpoint and he hits the ball out in front.

Luke Heyman (2022 C, Longwood, FL) showed off his typical big bat speed and power from the right side, launching multiple home runs. There's big intent behind the swing and the power more than plays in the box as he showed this summer on the biggest stages.

Mark Alvelo (2023 SS, Saint Johns, FL) has good bat speed and turns the barrel over with consistency. He repeats the swing well and looks to generate line drive contact to pull.

Blake Bryden (2022 OF, Chuluota, FL) has good strength out in front and a lot of impact potential when he gets extended out in front. The strength allows him to work to pull with intriguing power potential.

John Rodriguez (2023 3B, Kissimmee, FL) has a very efficient barrel path with a consistent gap to gap approach. He repeats well with the ability to drive the ball with strength to all fields.

Hayden Yost (2023 OF, Tampa, FL) has a lot of whip to the barrel path with the ability to drive the ball to the middle of the field with strength. The athleticism in the swing projects really well and he looks to do damage.

Fletcher Hislop (2023 OF, St Petersburg, FL) has quick hands and a loose swing that he controls well. Hislop stays short to the ball and looks to use all fields with intent.

Neisser Sanchez (2023 C, Miami, FL) is a switch hitter who showed some big power upside from the left side. He generates leverage and already shows good strength as he turns the barrel over consistently.

Gold-1 vs Purple-2

9/11/2021

Jesus Portillo (2023 Orlando, FL) ran the heater up to 87 with sink coming from a quick shoulder. Dropped the breaker in for strikes and missed bats during his outing.

Andy Perez (2024 Orange City, FL) had an impressive day on all sides. On the mound he competes hard and challenges with a mid-80s fastball that he moves around the zone. He did flash a slider that projects as he develops. He also smoked a single to the opposite field.

Gabriel J Cruz (2023 Miami, FL) struck out eight of the nine outs he recorded and ran the fastball up to 87. The slider was a real weapon with sharp bite and real swing and miss traits.

Isaias Oquendo Cardona (2023 Vega Alta, PR) absolutely pounded the strike zone with three pitches. The fastball peaks at 84 and there is plenty more in the tank.

Joe Thomas (2023 Jupiter, FL) worked both sides of the plate and did a great job of mixing his arsenal. He retired all nine batters he faced.

Gavin Florio (2023 Plant City, FL) peppered the glove side with a lively mid-80s fastball coming from a loose and easy delivery. There is a big jump coming and the fastball is already getting swing and miss. He threw a curveball and slider with the slider being a go-to type future pitch.

Marcos Bisano (2022 Davie, FL) was impressive during BP and it carried over to the game as he turned on a pitch and drove it to leftfield for a double. Athletic actions and plenty of bat speed.

Fletcher Hislop (2023 St Petersburg, FL) had a couple knocks on the day and has good feel for the barrel. The instincts shined on the bases as well stealing at will during the game.

Hayden Cockman (2022 Land O Lakes, FL) looks the part and the swing plays in game. He handled an outer half fastball well and smoked a single to centerfield.

Caleb Scott (2023 Orlando, FL) has a smooth stroke from both sides from a simple process. The game comes easy and he showed it taking quality at bats, and roping a single to the middle of the field.  He also swiped a bag during the trip around the bases.

Connor Charron (2022 Titusville, FL) has a super projectable frame with fast wrists and lots of length in the zone that plays in game. He found a loud barrel to the opposite field for a hit.

Nick Delucia (2024 Port Orange, FL) has good feel for his fastball and curveball and had a true mix. He got plenty of weak contact, but also finished hitters when he got to two strikes.

Hayden Yost (2023 Tampa, FL) is a high level bat with excellent bat to ball skills and the body really projects. Yost absolutely punished two baseball for hard liner hits during game play.
