Jack Buening (2023 C, Madison, AL) continued a solid weekend at the dish as he laced a double into the pull side corner. He has a good combination of discipline and physicality at the dish.

Raphael Hayes (2022 RHP, Mendenhall, MS) showed a good ability to adjust when he went down and got a tough pitch at the bottom part of the zone and smoked it on a line into left field. 

Jaden Guthrie (2022 SS, Montclair, VA) battled well in his time at the plate and came out on top when he sent a double over the center-fielder's head. He's a good athlete and has shown good in-game instincts over the last couple days.

Eli Tidwell (2023 MIF, Hartselle, AL) is a talented position prospect who has shown well in that facet all weekend but he hopped on the mound late in this one and pounded the zone in the low-80s missing some bats throughout. 

Conrad Cason (2024 SS, Lilburn, GA) is still only 14 years old and could have been in the 13U/14U side of this showcase but his athleticism on all sides of the ball certainly belongs in the older event.  He has a well controlled and calm right handed swing with bat speed and a very accurate barrel.

Jack Buening (2023 C, Madison, AL) is an aggressive hitter with a strong and compact build and plenty of present bat speed for his age.  He hits behind the ball very well and had a solid round of pull side line drives.

Connor Martin (2022 SS, Helena, AL) is a very strong 5-11/180 left handed hitter who gets into his strong lower half well to generate lift and power in his swing.

Eli Tidwell (2023 MIF, Hartselle, AL) is a rare young swing hitter who has both a similar approach but also similar bat speed from both sides of the plate.  He might have had a bit better round today from the right side but tomorrow it might be different.

Alex Wade (2022 OF, Decatur, AL) is a high level athlete with an Auburn commit who has a very simple and sound swing approach from the right side.  He barreled everything up with good jump to the pull side and plenty of projection for the future physically.

Chance Jackson (2023 RHP, Raymond, MS) has a swing that is a bit timing intensive but he's so strong with such good bat speed that he can overcome that, especially with pitches in the middle of the plate.  He got in a nice groove of crushing pitches up the LCF alley.

Raphael Hayes (2022 RHP, Mendenhall, MS) is another primary pitcher from Mississippi with nice hitting tools, although totally different build and swing approach.  The 6-3/168 right handed hitter has a nice flowing swing with nice lower/upper body sync and an accurate barrel out front.

Jack Buening (2023 C, Madison, AL) had a solid day at the dish as he picked up two extra-base hits in the boxscore, one of which was a hustle double on a high fly ball that fell into left-center and the other was a triple to the pull corner that made it to the wall.

Conrad Cason (2024 SS, Lilburn, GA) is an impressive young athlete who ran a 6.73 sixty and was clocked up to 93 mph across the diamond in infield drills and then jumped on the mound and worked 88-90 mph with big life, spun both a quality curveball and slider and flashed a good split changeup making for an electric four pitch mix out of a player who is still just 14 years old. He also impacted the ball well from at the dish throughout this look.

Alex Wade (2022 OF, Decatur, AL) is a big, physical right-handed hitter who showed he can do some damage with the swing when he took an inner half fastball and drove it into the pull side corner for an easy double.

Hayden Chason (2022 OF, Daphne, AL) also showed some physicality to the swing when he went off the bottom of the wall in left field for a long double late in the game. 

Chance Jackson (2023 RHP, Raymond, MS) has a good looking swing which he showed when he took an outer half fastball and stayed through it for a double up against the wall the other way.
