Luke Berry (2022 C, San Clemente, CA) showcased a solid set of hands and looked to use the middle of the field with his physical and athletic frame. His hands work well down through the zone and he displays good pop to his pull side.
Nicholas Dumesnil (2022 OF, Huntington Beach, CA) displayed controlled violence with a quit load and quick hands through the zone that have the ability to spray balls to all fields. He consistently hunts the inside half of the baseball and has created a solid foundation for himself.
Blake Schroeder (2022 OF, Stevenson Ranch, CA) also showcased his power with a home run of his own to left field. Schroeder has a strong stroke with a flat barrel path through the zone that helps him to backspin baseballs to his pull side.
With a low hanging leg lift trigger and an open stance, Elijah Selga (2024 C, Chula Vista, CA) unloads through the zone at launch and has the ability to drive the ball to all fields. He really extends his hands through the hitting zone and over emphasizes his finish.
Bryce Cruz (2023 RHP, Granite Bay, CA) Did a great job of creating separation and then threw hands at the baseball with authority. Sprayed the baseball around the park and proved he could pull the baseball for power during his round. Strength in the wrist and has total control of the barrel at all time.
Gaven Jesse (2022 OF, Sammamish, WA) Solid switch hitter who proved to have advanced bat on ball skills from both sides. Very advanced from the right-side as he proved he could leverage the baseball and drive it deep to the warning track. Short and simple from the left-side as he relied on his hand-eye coordination to square up the baseball.
Ryan Kim (2021 OF, Covina, CA) Utilized a very physical build as he had big time thump in the bat. Drove the baseball from gap to gap and projects big time power down the road. Squared the baseball up consistently and took one of the loudest rounds of the day.
Tyler Albanese (2023 RHP, Mentone, CA) has a ton of bat speed through the zone and stands to drastically improve as he learns to simplify his stroke. With the ability to drive it to just about anywhere in the ballpark, his power will be a carrying tool.
Sonny Salazar (2025 SS, Othello, WA) Relaxed in the box as he did a good job of transferring weight into the swing. Very strong hands as he looked to drive it middle-away on a line. Power showing as he drove a few of them deep to centerfield. Projects power down the road and it was on display today.
Tristan Fox (2022 RHP, Saratoga, CA) Took one of the more impressive rounds of Batting Practice today as he looked to drive it over the fence with every cut. The strength was present in the cut as he flashed power to the pull-side and did it with ease. When he squared it up, he proved to have some of the most pop out of everyone in the event.
Cole Blumenthal (2023 SS, Redondo Beach, CA) Impacted the baseball with authority during his round as he drove it on a line to the pull-side consistently. Did a nice job of matching plane while displaying a great set of hands. Shows some pull-side power too as he showed he could generate backspin with long fly balls to the warning track.
Bryant Viskovich (2023 OF, Los Gatos, CA) Peppered the middle of the field with line drives during his round as he found a barrel with every swing. Short and simple to the baseball as he gets the bat head out front while keeping the hands inside of the baseball. Proved to have some juice in the bat too when he got extended on inner-half pitches.
Kenneth Wang (2022 C, Claremont, CA) Did a great job of firing the lower and complimented that nicely with strong hands. Stayed linear through the zone and showed he could drive it to all fields on a line. Proved to have some pull-side pop too during his round. Some of the loudest contact of the day when he let it fly.
Dekker Smith (2021 OF, Suisun City, CA) Generated easy power as he threw his hands at the baseball. Looked to do damage with every cut and when he squared it up, he had real pop in the bat. Proved he could drive it on a line to the opposite field or drive it deep to the pull-side.
Jack McKeehan (2022 1B, Coto De Caza, CA) doesn't get cheated, he has a sound lower half that he incorporates into each swing. Whippy pass with good feel for the barrel, he creates plenty of loud noises when finding barrel.
Max Andeel (2021 OF, Placentia, CA) The ball jumps off his bat. Good strong hands through the sound with a sound lower half that he knows how to use. He creates good leverage in his swing and possesses emerging raw power.
Troy Anderson (2021 1B, Moorpark, CA) uses a wide base and has a simple operation. He has a quick trigger that unleashes through the zone with noticeable raw power. With a short and compact stroke, he has the ability to drive the ball to all fields.
David Loera (2021 C, Moreno Valley, CA) is a big swinger with a clear plan at the plate. He tracks the ball well and has plus feel for the barrel. He's currently a gap to gap guy who flashes plus pull side power.
