Maroon vs Royal Highlights

Angel M Torres (2020 Miami, FL) is a physical righthanded hitter with good bat speed and the ability to lift.  He got some extension on an elevated fastball on Sunday and hit it deep into the left centerfield gap for a stand-up double.     

Brett Blair (2021 Gainesville, FL) the righthanded hitter continues to impress and show his big opposite field power hitting a long triple directly down the right field line. This is a very interesting bat that needs to be followed closely.  

Christian Wilson (2020 Bakersfield, CA) is a physical back stop that had a good day behind the plate. He has strong wrists and blocks efficiently.  He also turned around a well-located fastball for a hard single to the middle of the field. 

Evan Cowan (2022 Richmond Hill, GA) is an exciting young 2-way prospect.  He has a loose lefthanded swing that stays in the zone a long time.  He also jumped on the mound running his fastball up to 83 with arm side run.  He has feel for his breaking ball and the body and arm action give him good upside.  

Nicholas Romano (2021 Boca Raton, FL) is a very athletic middle infielder that can stay at shortstop. He has a quick swing and his hands work well.  He stayed back on an outer half pitch on Sunday morning and banged a double off the opposite field wall in left center.  The lefthanded hitter has real upside on both sides of the ball.    

Miguel Garcia (2020 Ceiba, PR) showed sure hands in the field on Sunday and stayed on a fastball and drove it hard down the right field line for a stand-up triple.  He profiles as a power hitting right handed bat with a better than average glove at the hot corner.  

Joey Little 92022 Hawthorn Woods, IL) has a short and direct swing that plays well in games.  He uses the middle of the field and did a not job not trying to do too much on a line drive to centerfield on Sunday morning.  

Michael Higgins (2021 Lighthouse Point, FL) has nice projection in his lefthanded swing as his body fills out.  He showed a good hand adjustment to barrel a line drive to the middle and it looks like the power is ready to follow.  

Raul Diaz Jr (2021 Palm Beach Gardens, FL) after homering to leftfield on Saturday Diaz back spun a line drive to right centerfield on Sunday for an easy triple.  He is good behind the plate and the ball just flies off his bat.  

Carlos Cordero (2021 Orlando, FL) kept swinging a hot bat on Sunday.  He has twitch and overall athleticism and showed good barrel skills with another hard-hit double Sunday morning.  He plays the game hard and should be exciting to continue to track as he develops. 

Black vs Columbia Highlights

Zachary Mack (2021 Manvel, TX) is a physical righthanded hitter with a big frame and lots of present strength.  The righthanded hitter went with a pitch Sunday morning on the outer half and drove it hard to the opposite field gap for a triple, he later added a triple to dead-centerfield as well.  The bat speed plays and the potential for power is vast.  He also jumped on the mound showing a good 2-pitch mix with a fastball that topped at 87 and a curveball with good shape in the low-70s.   

Randall Carver (2020 San Antonio, TX) is a physical lefthanded bat that has very good bat speed. He had a couple hits this weekend including a hard, line drive through the 4-hole Sunday morning.  The body really projects, and he should add power as he learns to lift regularly.    

Blake Barquin (2021 Lakeland, FL) continues a good weekend with a triple to the opposite field gap in right centerfield.  The physical prospect has good feel for the barrel and the ball jumps hard.  

Chase Valentine (Phoenix, AZ) can really pick it at shortstop, gliding around the infield with great transfer and throw skills.  He found two barrels at the plate with one being a hard liner to the opposite field with 2-strikes.   

Sean O’Mara (2021 Shrewsbury, NJ) has real twitch and a very accurate barrel.  He hammered a double to the pull gap in left centerfield and followed it with a single in his last at bat.  He is a very good athlete and will be a force as the body matures.  

Jason L’Etoile (2021 Lake Worth, FL) had a nice day at the plate on Saturday then jumped on the hill today showing some good arm talent.  His fastball with firm and up to 87 with good downward plane and he shows the ability to spin with multiple swing and misses on his curveball.  

Kian Knutson (2020 Tampa, FL) had another 2-hit day.  He continues to impress with his overall athleticism. The 2020 grad also has real instinct on the bases that he uses well to take extra bases.  

Tyson Luna (2021 Houston, TX) Threw a couple good innings with a loose arm and a fastball that peaked at 81.  He added a double during game action that was lofted to the right centerfield game. His swing has whip and projects well.

Ceph Christie (2023 Washington, DC) really stood out this weekend in all aspects.  He turned on a pitch today and belted a line drive off the leftfield wall for a stand-up double.  He also jumped on the mound and topped at 80.

Jordan Austin (Lees Summit, MO) made some great plays in the outfield on Sunday.  He shows great range and closing speed to go along with a fast first step that he uses to take direct angles.  It was a very impressive defensive showing.  

Kian Knutson (2020 OF, Tampa, FL) has a strong and athletic frame that generates good bat speed at the plate, while using the hips to fire his weight forward and create carry to the pull side and middle of the field.

David Bishop (2021 SS, Marietta, GA) showed a very smooth swing with tons of bat speed at present as he looks to lift to both gaps. There is loft to the plane that projects well to when he fills into the 6'3 frame and taps into the power potential.

Jason L'Etoile (2021 1B, Lake Worth, FL) has strength in the swing at present as he creates leverage to the pull side and fires the hips on time to create strong contact out front. 

Chase Valentine (2021 SS, Phoenix, AZ) stays through the ball well with loose and whippy hands as he sprays solid line drive contact to both gaps. 

Tyson Luna (2021 OF, Houston, TX) has a lean, projectable frame and puts forth a simple stroke at the plate as he fires the hips well and makes solid, repeated contact out front. 

Bobby Fasulo (2022 OF, Jupiter, FL) works a simple operation at the plate with a fluid swing and good bat speed, showing comfortability turning the barrel over and working to the pull side. 

Connor Wilt (2021 1B, Lake Worth, FL) has strength to the frame and swings with high intent, generating solid bat speed and leveraging hard to lift the ball well to the pull side. 

Jerson Martin (2023 C, Norman, OK) is a young, twitchy athlete who is advanced mechanically for a high school freshman. He swings hard with natural loft to the stroke and some strength and carry to the pull side already. 

Hector Mangual (2021 SS, Oviedo, FL) has a lean, projectable frame that looks to hold plenty of strength down the road. He creates good separation and whip to the swing with strong wrists to carry the barrel head through.

KC Anchors (2022 C, Wellington, FL) young, but well built backstop with a balanced operation at the plate. He showed a smooth barrel path with strength in the swing and the comfortability to turn the barrel over and drive to the pull side and middle of the field.

Robert Oropeza (2022 SS, Tomball, TX) is an athletic middle-infielder with a loose, whippy swing that generates solid line drive contact at present with the occasional long, pull side shot like the home-run he hit in game.

Connor Camden (2021 OF, Littleton, CO) is an outfielder with plenty of projection that showcased some pop to the pull side from a loose, whippy swing as he looks to lift and drive the ball to the middle and pull side.

Kobe Benson (2021 SS, Boca Raton, FL) is a switch-hitting shortstop who showed well on both sides of the plate. There is more power here from the left side as he keeps the swing controlled and compact working to the middle of the field, while also showcasing good feel for the barrel and creating line drive contact from the right side. 

Memphys Starks (2020 3B, Ozark, MO) is a big-bodied switch hitter with plenty of power from both sides, profiling out a bit smoother from the left side as he leverages well and impacts with high intent and strength. 

Brayden Williams (2021 OF, Canton, GA) showcased a simple, balanced stroke at the plate with a level bat path that created consistent line drive contact as he sprayed to all fields. 

Canyon Rollins (2020 1B, Grapevine, TX) is a very large first baseman that showcased some strength at the plate from a whippy swing on a line drive swing path that popped a ball over the fence at the end of his round.

Nic Frink (2022 C, Scarborough, ME) is a young, but very strong backstop who showcased good bat speed as he looks to lift the ball and impact with strength to the pull side. There is still some rawness to the operation, but plenty of power to dream on as evidenced by the long home-run at the end of the round as well as the event high exit velocity of 96 mph.

Clayton Hodges (2021 OF, Jacksonville, FL) showcased a free and easy swing with fast hands as he generates natural loft, looking to impact and lift to the pull side.

Tommy White (2021 3B, St. Pete Beach, FL) continued to hit for extreme power here as he peppered the center field wall and buildings behind it with long fly balls from a loose swing with very quick hands that create big jump and carry off the barrel.

Drew Leinenbach (2021 RHP, Dunnellon, FL) showed a longer swing, but he gets on plane early and generates pretty good bat speed from strong wrists that create consistent line drive contact.

Randy Carlo IV (2021 3B, Sinking Spring, PA) showed some strength in his swing as he got good separation looking to impact out front and lift the ball to the pull side. 

Jack Speights (2020 2B, Clearwater, FL) has strong, fast hands at the plate with a very whippy swing as he creates leverage, swings hard and gets the barrel through the zone well. 

Michael Doramajian (2020 1B, Kirkland, QC) impacted the ball well as he used strong hands and very good bat speed to meet the ball out front and create hard, topspin contact to the middle and pull side.

Will Vergantino (2020 SS, Lumberton, NJ) showed a very solid round working to the pull side with good use of the lower half as he generated consistent leverage and lift with good bat speed and strong carry from contact.

Ryan Troye (2020 3B, Brentwood, CA) worked to the middle of the field well as he turned the barrel head over with strength at the contact that resulted in good carry on line drives and fly balls.

Lawson Knight (2021 OF, Round Rock, TX) put forth a loose and simple swing with a lot to like moving forward as he begins to fill out and tap into some of the power projection.

Ethan Zimmerman (2021 OF, Parkland, FL) has a simple and easy stroke at the plate, showing quickness in the hands as he turned the barrel head over and roped consistent line drives to the pull side and middle of the field.

Brett Blair (2021 3B, Gainesville, FL) has great bat speed at the plate as he gets on plane early creating good launch and strength at contact to the middle of the field.

Raul Diaz Jr (2021 C, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) had a loud round here depositing four balls over the left-center fence. There is some length to the swing, but he has good use of the hands to generate lift to the pull side with strength at contact.

Cole McGonigal (2021 LHP, Montclair, NJ) has good bat speed and strong wrists, showing comfortability getting the barrel out front and turning it over to create strong contact to the pull side. He fires the hips well and creates good separation at contact.

Columbia vs Gold Highlights 

Bobby Fasulo (2022 Jupiter, FL) a well put together prospect for his age, the right handed hitter swings a heavy barrel.  He got extended on a pitch and drove it to the pull side gap for a double.  There is some real offensive upside with this young hitter.  

Benjamin Rosin (2021 Shoreview, MN) ran his fastball up to 87 with good downward plane.  He mixed a tight slider that got swing and miss when he located it to the glove side.  It’s an effortless arm action that has a nice jump in it.  

Hector Mangual (2021 Oviedo, FL) the rangy shortstop who showed good actions on Saturday in the field and looks like he can stay at the position long term.  The Mizzou commit also stay on a fastball and drove it deep to the opposite field gap in right centerfield for a triple.  The bat continues to come with this right handed hitter.  He added a single in his last at bat to finish his day.    

Braden Calise (2021 Fort Peirce Central, FL) the 2-way player really stood out defensively during workouts and made a great diving play at third base during game play.  He ranged to his right and dove to make the stop, getting up and firing to first for the out in one motion.  He banged a ball off the leftfield wall for a double, showing good bat speed.  Then he jumped on the mound topping at 88 and mixing his curveball well through two pretty easy innings.  

Blake Barquin (2021 Lakeland, FL) the big 6-foot-5 righty threw low-80s (T86) bowling balls during his outing.  He pounds the zone with 3-pitches from a low 3/4 slot, with plenty of upside left.  He made it a tough day on hitters with his ability to mix his pitches.    

Chase Valentine (2021 Phoenix, AZ) is a shifty shortstop with a good first step and smooth actions.  He nearly made the play of the day with a hard-hit ground ball up the middle.  He went to the ground and fielded the ball, spun and fired to first for a great bang-bang play.  His body control is very good, and he has a very high motor.  He also has a fast bat that projects well.   

Kyle Peters (2023 Drums, PA) is a young righthanded pitcher with a clean delivery that he repeated well. He has a quick arm that add deception to opposing hitters as the ball seemed to pop out of his hand with a fastball that topped at 82.  He threw a slider to the glove side that he had good feel for and worked the pitch in any count.    

Sean O’Mara (2021 Shrewsbury, NJ) has a nice wiry frame with quick hands at the plate.  He showed good barrel skills all day.  He got an elevated pitch to drive and he didn’t miss, getting all of it for a no doubt homerun half way up the net past the leftfield fence.  He is really athletic and also runs well.  

Clay Tyas (2021 RHP, Gainesville, GA) worked three scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and striking out five. The uncommitted right-hander worked his fastball up to 87 mph with a high-tempo delivery and very good feel to spin a pair of mid-70s breaking balls. 

Clayton Boroski (2021 RHP, Saint Cloud, FL) worked four scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and striking out five. The uncommitted right-hander worked his fastball up to 82 mph, pounding the zone with a short, quick arm stroke from an over-the-top arm slot while mixing in a solid breaking ball for swing-and-miss and flashing a changeup with good downward action.

Kobe Benson (2021 SS, Boca Raton, FL) picked up a pair of hard-hit balls showcasing a fluid stroke at the plate with a short, direct path to the ball. The Coastal Carolina commit showed strong defensively as well as he ranged to both sides with ease, including a strong play coming across the middle and cutting down the runner at first.

Miguel Garcia (2020 OF, Ceiba, PR) showcased the power tool in-game as he took an inner-half fastball and sent it over the left-field fence for a late home-run. The uncommitted outfielder offers strength at contact as he works to lift the ball to both gaps, as well as making a strong play up against the fence in right field. 

Luis Mejia (2021 OF, Miami, FL) carried over his line drive contact from batting practice into the game as he roped a liner down the third base line for a stand-up double. The uncommitted outfielder has a short, direct swing path with plenty of athleticism that translated well to a strong showing in defensive workouts. 

Robert Oropeza (2022 SS, Tomball, TX) was a young standout in-game as he picked up a pair of hits, including a line drive home-run to left field. The uncommitted shortstop has very good bat speed from a strong, athletic frame, showing comfort working to the pull side and handling elevated pitches.

Rossman Diaz (2020 C, Macon, GA) is a physical right-hander hitter who has good bat-to-ball skills, showcasing solid line drive contact in batting practice, and carrying it over to game in the form of a pair of base hits. 

Brayden Williams (2021 OF, Canton, GA) continued a sound approach at the plate as he hammered a ball into the left field corner for a stand-up double. The uncommitted outfielder has strong hands that generate good bat speed and solid line drive contact.

Ben Taxdahl (2021 RHP, Prior Lake, MN) was dominant over two innings of work Saturday, allowing just one hit and striking out four batters. Taxdahl attacks hitters with a heavy fastball at 83-86mph; however, his best pitch this time around was the sharp curveball with 12-6 shape in the upper-70s. The right-hander has an athletic frame that has plenty of room to fill out and add strength. 

Perry Cook (2021 OF, Lakeland, FL) drove a ball deep to the wall in center field in his first trip to the plate. Cook has a direct path to contact and shows power potential from the left side. The barrel gets on plane early and through the zone for the physical outfielder, and the power numbers should only rise as the frame continues to mature. 

Will Vergantino (2020 SS, Lumberton, NJ) hit a towering home run in his first trip to the plate, driving the ball deep over the wall in left field. The Elon commit has present strength in the frame, and has the bat speed and hand quickness to lift ball with ease to the pull side. Vergantino was also good defensively throughout Saturday's action, making a couple of really nice plays. 

Bradley Link (2023 MIF, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) showed a lot of things to like on the mound Saturday. The young right-hander struck out six batters over three innings of work, allowing just one hit and showing advanced feel to locate a good three-pitch mix. Aside from the fastball up to 80mph, Link showed feel to spin both a mid-70s slider with sweeping action and an 11-5 curveball in the upper-60s on Saturday. Link also has plenty of room to fill the frame and plenty of time to do so. 

Michael Rivera (2021 MIF, Gurnee, IL) recorded two hits in Saturday's action, showing good bat-to-ball skills and a compact path to contact. Rivera also pitched in the game, striking out two over two hitless innings. A primary middle-infielder, Rivera shows the athleticism and instincts to do a lot of things at a high level on the field. 

Joshua Steidl (2021 C, Delray Beach, FL) hit a long double to the wall in right field in his final at-bat of the day. The left-handed hitter a smooth and easy swing from the left side, showing good jump off the barrel when squared. The primary catcher has a medium frame and the present lower half strength allows him to lift to the gaps with ease. 

Black vs Royal Highlights

Gavin Conticello (2021 Coconut Creek, FL) has a very loose swing with good bat to ball skills.  He projects for more power as he adds strength. The lefty had four hits during game play Saturday including a double and a long triple to the opposite field gap that banged off the wall.  The South Florida commit also shows good ability on the infield and can stay on the left side long term.  

Ceph Christie (2023 Washington, DC) is a really athletic young prospect that brings good versatility. He did a nice job behind the plate with a good arm and quickness while blocking.  He added 2-hits that both were loud off the barrel.  

Santiago Ordonez (2022 Coconut Creek, FL) Worked out very well at both infield and catcher.  He then showed a powerful swing in game play. His bat to ball skills are very good and led to a couple hard hits during Saturday’s action.  

Kian Knutson (2020 Tampa, FL) A powerfully built righthanded hitter that has twitch throughout.  He went with a pitch on the outer half and it landed in right field for a hustle triple, then pulled a triple to the left centerfield gap his last at bat.  He added a liner single in between the triples.  He is a very good runner with closing speed in the outfield as well.   

Jayson Cruz (2021 Newark, NJ) is a strong lefthanded hitter with easy bat speed and already shows the ability to lift.  He turned on a pitch in game and banged it of the RCF wall for a stand-up double.  

Harrison Coble (2021 Richmond, VA) ran his fastball up to 83 during his outing with heavy arm side run. He mixed two quality off speed pitches in the low-70s.  A short breaking ball with downer shape and a changeup that had fade to it.  He located both well to the arm side.  

Jason L’Etoile (2021 Lake Worth, FL) the physical lefthanded hitter has a very direct path with good timing. He uses the middle well as he hit two base hits back up the box.  The frame and bat speed indicate the power will come as he develops.  

Jackson Kent (2021 Pace, FL) Lots of projection in the righty that sat 84-87 with a sweeping breaker around 70.  He tunneled well and got a lot of soft contact during his outing.  His ow 3/4 slot is a tough match up for most hitters. 

Ryan Waldschmidt (2021 Bradenton, FL) he is a tightly wound athlete with good bat speed that plays in game.  He hammered a single to the pull side and drove a ball deep to the gap in left centerfield.  He runs well underway and can play all infield spots.  There are very good bat to ball skills.     

Brett Blair (2021 Gainesville, FL) showed a powerful swing and does a great job of going to the opposite field.  He has the ability to drive the ball to the gaps but maintained his approach on a 3-hit day that included a double hit directly down the right field line.  

Raul Diaz Jr (2021 Palm Beach Gardens, FL) put on a show in BP with four consecutive homeruns.  He brought that homerun swing to the game as he back spun a line drive over the leftfield wall.  He shows some serious hand strength and it translates.  

Carlos Cordero (2021 Orlando, FL) plays hard and makes the tools play up nicely.  He also had a multi-hit day that included a double.  He anticipates well and is constantly trying to create havoc.  

David Bishop (2021 Marietta, GA) the TCU commit has a nice frame with long arms, and he uses them to stay on plane well.  He hit a double during game play today showing some jump off the bat.   

Dominic Flacco (2021 LHP, Ormond Beach, FL) impressed in three innings of work on Saturday, striking out four batters and attacking the zone to force early, soft contact. Flacco pitched in the low-80s, and relied heavily on a curveball that has 11-5 shape and late depth through the zone to get outs. The uncommitted left-hander was able to sequence the pitches well, keeping hitters off-balance throughout. 

Tommy White (2021 3B, St. Pete Beach, FL) ripped a single down the left field line in his first trip to the plate, showing an ability to get the hands extended and drive the inside pitch with authority. White has a physical frame with presents strength throughout, and the North Carolina State commit flashes pull-side power that projects well. 

Ryan Troye (2020 3B, Brentwood, CA) drove a single back through the box in his first trip to the plate, showing some impressive bat speed and advanced bat-to-ball skills. Troye has an athletic frame with present strength in the lower half, and the swing projects for more power as he continues to mature physically. 

Michael Sirota (2021 SS, Queens, NY) does a lot of things to like at the shortstop position, and the Northeastern commit displayed an excellent defensive tool set in game action. Sirota shows the ability to take good angles to the ball, fielding with a clean glove action and making accurate throws across the diamond both with his feet set and on the run. 

Perry Cook (2021 OF, Lakeland, FL) used an effective mix of speeds to keep hitters off-balance during his two-inning appearance on Saturday. Cook was able to locate his low-80s fastball well, running it up to 85mph and also flashing feel to spin a curveball with 11-5 shape and late depth through the zone at 72. Cook struck out three batters in his two innings, showing the ability to create good swing-and-miss with the breaking ball. 

Ross Highfill (2022 C, Madison, MS) recorded a loud triple to the pull-side gap on Saturday, showing an ability to impact the ball at contact and drive it to and through that pull-side gap. The primary catcher has a balanced approach at the plate with a short and fluid path to contact. 

Daniel Munroe (2021 RHP, Pembroke Pines, FL) was lights out over three innings of work, allowing just one hit and striking out a pair. Munroe attacks hitters with a low-80s fastball, topping at 84mph and showing good feel to spin a low-70s slider. The right-hander is effective with the fastball, flashing some late run to the arm-side and creating steep downward plane when on time. 

Christian Orduna (2021 LHP, Miami, FL) impressed on the mound, attacking the zone with ease and running a lively fastball up to 87mph. Orduna explodes down the mound, and the athletic left-hander also showed feel to spin a curveball at 65-67mph. Orduna also showed excellent command of the zone in the outing, striking out four and not allowing a walk over three innings of work. 

Cameron McDuffy (2021 OF, Cooper City, FL) used his all fields approach to record a pair of hits on Saturday. The primary outfielder has a compact and athletic frame, using his strong hands to be quick through the zone. McDuffy also flashed good instincts on the bases, playing aggressive and looking to take the extra base and get into scoring position. 

Jack Speights (2020 2B, Clearwater, FL) has a strong build and uses a patient approach to drive the baseball. Speights shows the ability to lift to and through the pull-side gap, finding the barrel to left-center field. The primary second baseman swings with intent to drive the ball at a consistent clip.
