2021 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 14)
Joseph Zamejtis is a 2023 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Danvers, MA who attends Danvers. Recorded a 7.35 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lean frame with with a high waist, long levers and plenty of room to fill out. Outfielder that flashes a fundamentally sound defensive skill set, projectable arm strength and smooth, clean actions throughout the fielding process. Stays behind the baseball well, gathering cleanly and transitions into a well-maintained crow-hop to throw. Displayed online, accurate throws up to 83 mph during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from an even stance with a high, tight hand set and high back elbow. Incorporates a small forward stride, deep scar load and rotational lower half mechanics to get to launch. Pullside approach with developing bat-to-ball skills, some compact bat speed and some feel for the barrel. Intent based swing with slightly lofted stroke and occasional line drive impact to right field. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.
