Fernando Cruz is a 2023 SS/ with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, NC who attends Cenaped. Slender young frame that will fill out as he continues to mature. A primary infielder that stays low, uses his feet extremely well to cut angles well. Very good feel for the middle infield, makes easy adjustment, quick hands, clean transfer with some arm accuracy. The right-handed hitter uses a slow leg lift and matching hand load, stretches well. Fluid hip movement with a lag follow, middle to opposite field approach. Showed ability to find the barrel consistently late in BP. Upside as strength continues to show up.
