Guillermo Batista is a 2025 SS/IF with a 5-10 164 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, SD who attends 10Th Grade Academy - 76. Ran a 7.12 second sixty. Primary short stop with a more physical frame for the age. Showed quickness in the hands receiving the ball out front and bringing it in to the middle line quickly as he carries his momentum into the throws with solid carry across the infield at 79 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts with an even base on the left side using a heel turn load. Gets the barrel to contact consistently out front using the entire park with good feel for the barrel as he got he ball in the air from gap to gap with good rotation through contact. Impacts the ball hard with good intent, recorded a 85 mph exit velocity with more power to come as he matures. Excellent student.
