Kyle Glover is a 2008 MIF/P with a 5'7'', 145 lb. frame from Fremont CA, who attends Irvington HS. He was selected for the Top Prospect Game, which did not get played due to darkness. Glover has an average buld with some wiry strength, well-suited for the middle of the diamond. He has really improved over the last year and is developing into a nice college prospect. He keeps the game simple, hitting where he is pitched and competing each at-bat. Glover has a quick bat, a balanced swing and stays inside the ball, allowing him to spray line drives to all fields. Solid two-hole type hitter. Defensively he is a "gamer" with good ability. Glover's hands are soft and he has a quick release. He played well at both SS and 2B, though his arm strength more suited to 2B at the college level. Glover plays with energy and should be a steady contributor in time at the college level.
